The global Employee Learning & Development (ELD) team develops results-driven and inclusive employees, leaders, & teams with the critical mindsets, behaviors, & skills needed to enable Salesforce’s  growth, profitability, and customer success in a healthy and balanced way. The ELD team crafts and delivers development programs, owns the global mentor philosophy and related services, deploys a range of resources to equip teams for dedication, and builds communities of practice for Salesforce executives to connect and grow. This ELD Manager role is a program lead for the Executives Pathway team and will contribute to building out the leadership development journey for Salesforce’s executives (VP+). This role will work closely with the Executive Pathway Leads as a trusted partner to provide thought leadership, input, program management, and support for the learning programs and activities delivered to senior executives; with an opportunity to directly impact their leadership growth and transformation.   

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of the vision, strategy, plan, and learning design for Executive Leader Pathway Learning Journey and related experiences
  • Handle the implementation of the vision, strategy, plan, and learning design for Pathway, owning select components where applicable
  • Lead and integrate critical work deliverables and timelines to effectively execute across all development interventions for projects and breakthrough programs such as Leading for Impact and Leading for Growth.
  • Determine and implement solution delivery approach and ensure the right people and resources are in place to implement the vision for the Pathway Learning Journey.
  • Drive learning experience-related communication with participants and collaborators (including working with the ELD Comms liaison and other Program Leads)
  • Run budgets and operating expenses (Working closely with the ELD/Ops team via centralized processes)
  • Partner intimately with ELD Operations team to ensure efficient schedule management and timing for a scalable, sustainable delivery
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships (i.e. Faculty, Coaches, etc and own and manage external vendor relationships
  • Develop own design, delivery, and stakeholder leadership skills on the job, learning from the Pathway Leads and others
  • Contribute to the facilitation and coaching of leaders during milestone programs
  • Support program evaluation processes and data analysis of program results and effectiveness (Working closely with the people analytics and Ops data and  assessments team)

Education

  • Undergraduate degree and/or graduate certificate in Business Administration, Leadership/Organization Development (OD), or equivalent experience
  • Facilitation and/or coaching certification preferred

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of dynamic Leadership/OD/HR experience within large organizations or equally sophisticated environments
  • Experience interacting and confidently communicating with senior executive leaders and partners 
  • Strong program management and organization skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects at the same time and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of leadership and organization development, learning models, content design, and behavioral assessments; with a natural curiosity for leveraging groundbreaking practices
  • Experience coordinating and/or delivering leadership development programs and courses in multiple modalities, including high-touch, face-to-face, and live-online using a variety of technologies
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder leadership skills
  • Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,600 to $152,200.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $167,400.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
