Job Description

Are you interested in joining us in our fight against cancer? Do you have a knack for instructional design and technology? We have the perfect opportunity for you! The Nursing Professional Development Specialist Team MSK is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Instructional Design & Technology Specialist to join us.

You Will:

  • Streamline and automate course offerings, programs, and processes.
  • Collaborate with nursing team members to create, administer, and track nursing professional development programs and courses.
  • Partner with nursing leadership to create and implement learning programs that contribute to the Nursing’s departmental and organizational strategic goals.
  • Use well-known and evidence-based Instructional Design theories and practices to create/build eLearning courses that are interactive, and meaningful and ensure the transfer of knowledge.
  • Integrate cutting-edge technologies and multimedia to ensure that the courses are delivered interactively and engagingly.
  • Assess and evaluate learning modules to constantly strive to improve course offerings and the delivery of topics and materials and identify deficiencies/gaps.
  • Serve as project manager in the implementation of systems and processes to ensure a smooth transition to new systems and/or processes.

You Have:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Communications or Instructional design
  • 4 years experience in Instructional design and technology
  • Proficiency and knowledge in evidence-based methodology and Instructional Design theories.
  • Solid understanding of LMS, HRMS, and other systems.

#LIPOST#LI-HYBRID – Mostly remote but occasional need to come in. Hours: 4/10hrs M-F.
