As a Learning Designer at Wegmans, you’ll design learning programs and videos that connect, communicate, and inspire. We’d love to have you on the team!

What will I do? 

  • Coordinate, design and develop learning solutions for projects of all complexities and ensure learning designs and solutions optimize tools and systems, while meeting business needs and closing performance gaps
  • Use a variety of multimedia technologies, including video, to ensure learning materials are current, relevant to needs, follow branding guidelines/principles and have a cohesive and consistent look, voice and learner experience
  • Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and customers on independent projects, aligning with the big picture, and ensuring a complete and cohesive learning solution within and across functional areas
  • Route all requests through department process, managing projects and holding others accountable to agreed-upon project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Perform learning and audience needs analysis, ask clarifying questions, create proposals and make recommendations for new or revised learning solutions that meet needs of environment, learner, and budget
  • Stay relevant with innovative industry trends, sharing knowledge, and coaching team members to maximize team capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years’ experience in learning design and development
  • Experience with multimedia development, video editing, and/or social media-inspired content for learning applications
  • Experience designing complex, instructionally sound learning solutions using multiple delivery methods
  • Project coordination experience and systems aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Learning
  • Experience with instructional technologies, videography, eLearning, including: Snagit, Vyond, Articulate Suite, Adobe Captivate
  • Certified Instructional Technologist
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
