Overview

The LMS Administrator/eLearning Developer role is a unique opportunity to blend technical and creative skillsets to support Clark Training and Development’s mission to provide all employees with high quality training resources. You will have complete ownership for managing and maintaining Clark’s online learning platform (LMS) to ensure optimal efficiency and ease of use across the enterprise. Additionally, you will drive the development of engaging and professional eLearning and serve as a bridge between the T&D team and a variety of key stakeholders.

This position is full-time and located in Lititz, PA, but is hybrid-friendly for those within a 2-hour driving radius.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage Clark’s Learning Management System

  • Proactively maintain and develop LMS processes, training materials, resources, and documents to guide users and address FAQs
  • Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshooting technical issues
  • Maintain and monitor accurate and up-to-date records, including user profiles, course content and assessment results
  • Support LMS updates, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Establish effective working relationships with technical personnel within vendors and other internal groups involved in the LMS’s operation
  • Critically assess the LMS functionality and Identify areas for innovation and improvement
  • Remain current on best practices in LMS management and eLearning to help inform T&D strategic vision, goals and objectives and improve training outcomes

Serve as the T&D lead in eLearning course ideation, design, and development processes, communicating effectively with stakeholders including T&D, Video, and Design teams

  • Create dynamic and innovative learning content for computer-based training modules
  • Work directly with in-house Design and Video teams on storyboarding and setting clear project specifications, and integrating their work into SCORM or related eLearning platforms
  • Test training material, systems, and content to ensure they are meeting training objectives
  • Develop mechanisms for measuring and tracking post-instruction outcomes; analyze data and consult on training metrics

Desired Skills & Abilities / Qualifications

  • Understanding of best practices in adult learning and effective engagement strategies
  • 3+ years experience working with a Learning Management System
  • 1+ years serving as an LMS Administrator preferred
  • 3+ years experience in eLearning course development
  • Experience with educational design/eLearning software (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360)
  • Experience with SCORM and xAPI standards
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizing eLearning content preferred
  • Ability to communicate complex learning concepts effectively through engaging eLearning course design
  • Advanced knowledge and use of LMS data analytics, including creating and utilizing reports to track outcomes and guide continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated success in project management – managing multiple projects simultaneously and executing tasks with little supervision
  • Ability to function effectively and efficiently within a highly collaborative team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Ability to think critically through problems and consider multiple perspectives
  • Proficient in the use of computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Passion for adult learning and leveraging technology to promote employees’ growth and development
