Entrata’s Knowledge and Education Department is looking for an Instructional Designer. This role is primarily responsible for maintaining and ensuring effective management of the Learning Management System (LMS). An enterprise LMS is new for Entrata so this individual will be vital to ensuring a successful rollout and setup for our external users. The individual in this role will be an expert in understanding Docebo LMS functionality and provide creative solutions on how to utilize the software to drive enablement across Entrata’s operating system. In addition, this individual will be expected to manage the design, development, and maintenance of training courses and instructional materials for the LMS and Entrata certification program. This individual will be expected to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously while completing them within specified timelines. 

Responsibilities will include

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users facing challenges or issues with the LMS or course content. 
  • Conceptualize, design, and develop training content, including video and course content, assessments, scenario-based training, interactive elements, and other training materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support projects that drive team initiatives and larger organizational goals
  • Use a variety of multimedia technology and authoring tools to build content that engages the audience, increases retention, transfers skill/knowledge, and drives sustained behavior change
  • Lead all administrative and technical aspects of LMS system, including uploading content, creating, testing, assigning, and maintaining courses 
  • Analyze LMS utilization data and metrics to provide relevant information to stakeholders and leadership in support of business objectives
  • Stay current with software upgrades and system releases to enhance functionality and user experience
  • Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data, or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiencies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience developing training content for business software and/or technical software topics for eLearning
  • 2+ years of experience using eLearning development tools including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe After Effects
  • 2+ years of experience managing enterprise-level LMS 
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, including the ability to integrate information from various resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service/helpdesk support including management of ticket/email responses
  • 2+ years experience with video production and editing using tools such as Premiere or Final Cut Pro
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems, Knowledge Management Systems, and Help Center best practices
