We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in a role focused on enhancing our educational offerings. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing engaging, innovative, and effective instructional materials. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between expert knowledge and learner needs, ensuring our educational content is impactful and accessible.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience training needs
  • State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process 
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
  • Decide on and continually improve the criteria used to judge learners’ performance and develop assessment instruments 
  • Maintain training documentation and materials

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years experience in instructional design 
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models 
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or related field 
  • Previous experience in adult education
  • Prior visual design experience 
  • Start-up experience
