Job Summary:

This role is responsible for deploying, optimizing, and managing the Learning Management System (VetBloom LMS) across our hospital portfolio, supporting the integration of VetBloom with other enterprise technology platforms, and managing LMS operations including content updates and course catalog management. Additionally, the role involves the development and implementation of content, curricula, and training programs across Ethos. The goal is to blend technical and creative skillsets to provide all team members with high quality training resources, drive the development of engaging eLearning, and to serve as a bridge between the Clinical L&D team and a variety of key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate new hospital teams into Ethos’s digital learning resources.
  • Design asynchronous and synchronous virtual and in person; standalone, blended, and academic courses and programs.
  • Translate existing content to new delivery formats, and maintaining all resources, courses, materials.
  • Partner with subject matter experts from across the organization to identify training needs, and develop e-learning and/or in-person courses and programs along with assessments.
  • Attend team meetings; track decisions and take ownership of action items that emerge from the discussions.
  • Develop mechanisms for measuring and tracking post-instruction outcomes..
  • Ensure the curriculum development process follows the six phases of the (ADDIE) model and that the learning objectives have been validated appropriately.
  • Work directly with the Clinical L&D team on storyboarding and setting clear project specifications, and integrating their work into SCORM or related eLearning tools.
  • Partner to provide timely and customer-centric support related to accesses or content troubleshooting, curriculum implementation, navigation, or optimization.
  • Partner to conduct in-depth analyses to identify current and future learning and development needs within the organization, developing and implementing strategies and programs to address these needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback and data analysis, making recommendations for improvements to enhance their impact.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training providers and industry experts to ensure Ethos stays at the forefront of online learning and development trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to identify key learning objectives, developing customized training programs that align with Ethos Veterinary Health’s strategic goals.
  • Continuously administer and enhance the LMS, ensuring the platform meets the evolving needs of the organization and its stakeholders.
  • Administer and support LMS operations including user access, permissions, content updates, and course catalog management.
  • Partner to lead the creation of competency frameworks and badging systems within the LMS to execute on deploying competency-based educational programs for various roles across the organization.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for LMS support issues, including vendor interactions.
  • Support blended, live, and synchronous virtual events through the LMS.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with other support center teams on the integration of the LMS with other enterprise platforms.

Education, License and Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
  • 5+ years of experience working in Learning & Development or related area
  • 3+ years’ experience in LMS administration and content development learning technologies, preferred experience with Articulate
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Entry-level experience with project management software

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to be active, sitting, walking, standing while assisting in clinical workshops and hands on training when necessary
  • Ability to travel by plane, train, or car throughout the United States and Canada
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings when necessary
  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds 

The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$100,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a periodic bonus.
