The Role

As a member of our Global Learning and Content team, the LMS Administrator will own the implementation, administration, and maintenance of our LMS platforms as well as lead web development improvements in our Zendesk Help Center. You will partner with stakeholders, use data and feedback to drive decisions, and craft innovative and scalable processes and experiences to provide a best-in-class user experience. 

This position requires someone who is a self-starter with excellent attention to detail as they will assist in the planning, development, and execution of our training process and instructional materials. This position reports to the head of the Learning and Content team.

What You Will Own

Includes, but is not limited to, the following: 

  • Manages the daily operation, use, configuration, and governance of our LMS platforms.
  • Manages LMS enhancements, appearance, data imports and exports, roles and provisioning, and settings.
  • Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security, governance, and integrity of LMS platforms.
  • Manages the development and maintenance of the LMS learning taxonomy, assessments, demos, etc.
  • Maintains accurate records; identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements.
  • Support internal and external audiences with metrics, as well as, standard and custom reports.
  • Recognize and resolve issues that may appear when it comes to course design, its configuration and infrastructure.
  • Creates and updates resources to train and support diverse learner styles.
  • Writes and maintains technical procedures, product, and policy documentation.
  • Uses CSS/HTML and JavaScript experience to enhance our Zendesk Help Center.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience/training (coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration)
  • 3+ years’ experience as an LMS Administrator or similar (Absorb LMS experience preferred).
  • Experience with multiple web design technologies, such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Instructional Video Design experience (Camtasia preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Instructional Design background
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Experience with Zendesk Help Center
  • Technical skills including troubleshooting, project management, and understanding of LMS directory, file structures, system, and dependencies.
  • Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as customers.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Familiarity with course design and development
  • Experience working with an international constituency
  • Be self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently and be self-directed. 
  • Desire and willingness to learn new technologies and processes from technical documentation 
  • Able to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure and with time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. 
  • Ability to set, manage, and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to provide resolution and/or escalation to customer concerns in a timely fashion.
