Position Description

Landmark Construction Company Inc., an industry leader in earthwork and utility solutions trusted by the most prominent names in the Lowcountry for over 50 years and counting, is seeking an experienced Training Manager to join our growing team. As a Training Manager, you will identify training needs, create effective training programs, and facilitate learning and development throughout our organization. This will be an on-site position located in North Charleston, SC.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Conducting ongoing learning needs assessments to identify performance gaps and determine requirements for developing new learning and development programs and materials. 
  • Ensuring alignment of training programs between enterprise L&D strategies and business unit-specific strategy
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and administrator for LMS and supplemental training platforms
  • Selection and management of internal and external resources, including sourcing external vendors to develop and deliver training
  • Selection of internal train the trainer candidates, auditing qualifications, and initial/renewal timelines
  • Promoting company training opportunities to employees

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Training and Development, Organizational Psychology, Business or a related field.

Master’s degree (preferred)

5+ years of instructional design experience

Supervisory experience (This position will have one direct report)

Certification in relevant learning and development programs, e.g., CPLP and CPTM, is a plus!
