As the Manager of Global Operations Learning, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for maintaining, creating, and implementing training programs that align with our organizational objectives. Working closely with the Operations Excellence team, you will assess training needs and contribute to a roadmap that enhances our training initiatives. You will contribute to shaping a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our dynamic and expanding organization. Your efforts will be instrumental in fostering employee skills, capabilities, and a culture of operations excellence.

Here’s A Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing

Maintenance and Program Updates:

  • Maintain and update existing Krispy Kreme training programs, including Retail and Manufacturing Induction, Workplace Fundamentals (Compliance), and Management Skills.

Collaboration and New Initiatives:

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to review, revise, and create new training Initiatives and maintain current ones.
  • Design engaging educational material, training modules, workshops, presentations, and process documents to support new products, processes, and procedures.

Project Support and Product Development:

  • Support the Director of Operations Learning with ad hoc projects and learning engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the New Product Development and Innovation/Marketing teams to ensure all learning material intended for Krispy Kremers facilitates effective learning.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Utilize information in the Learning Management System (LMS) to provide meaningful, timely reports on training initiatives.
  • Prioritize the Krispy Kreme Learner experience in all activities.

Field-based Support:

  • Be available to help support the field-based teams with training requirements as needed.

Strategic Alignment and Roadmap:

  • Contribute to the strategic operations excellence roadmap aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Training Program Diversity:

  • Create and manage a diverse range of training programs addressing specific needs across different business areas and employee levels including manufacturing and logistics.

Effectiveness Evaluation:

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead instructional designers and ensure their job functions are completed properly in accordance with their job responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the People Team and solutions and services areas to integrate learning initiatives into global performance management and career development frameworks.

Learning Trends and Innovations:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure the organization remains competitive in talent development.

Internal and External Guest Experience:

  • Design processes and procedures that eliminate complexity for Krispy Kremers, regardless of role.
  • Design processes and procedures ensuring delivery of a high-quality guest experience on every channel.
