How You’ll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

Training Program Development: 20%

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative training programs, workshops, and seminars that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and update training materials regularly to reflect the latest industry trends and technologies in aerospace.

Training Delivery and Coordination: 15%

  • Conduct and facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to diverse groups of employees.
  • Schedule and manage training sessions, ensuring availability of resources, venues, and trainers.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver specialized training content.

Performance Management: 15%

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Implement improvements based on evaluation results to enhance training quality and impact.
  • records and generate reports for management review.

Team Leadership: 10%

  • Demonstrates characteristics of a leader and frequently represents the team in interactions with our internal customers. Lead and mentor supervisors and leads.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging professional growth and development.

Stakeholder Engagement: 20%

  • Collaborate with department heads and managers/supervisors, HR, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and priorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external training vendors and partners.

Technology Integration: 20%

  • Leverages emerging technologies and identifies efficient and meaningful ways to communicate data and analysis in order to satisfy Training and other divisional needs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and integrate them into training programs as appropriate.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in training and development is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in training and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • 2 years working as a Training coordinator in a business/industrial setting, or 2 years of experience working as a Teacher, Professor or equivalent field
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
