Senior Training Specialists facilitate training on Bonterra products to customers and employees.  Training delivered may take the form of onsite or remote Instructor-Led Training classes delivered to individual customers, group training programs for multiple customers at a time, or highly scripted public webinar sessions presented to large number of customers on a regular basis.

Training delivered by Senior Training Specialists focuses on equipping Bonterra customers with the skills and knowledge to maximize their value from their Bonterra products.  Senior Training Specialists draw upon their extensive knowledge of both the Bonterra products as well as the industries they are serving to deliver training that is informative and directly relatable to the customer’s organizational needs.

Senior Training Specialists own the instructional design process for new or updated training classes or webinars, which includes developing standard agendas, lesson plans, visual presentations, assessments and digital simulations – ensuring training is consistent and engaging.

Senior Training Specialists deliver 1:1 custom training services for customers which can also include the development of custom training resources such as videos, eLearning modules and assessments.

Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uses modern instructional design techniques to develop new training classes, which may include the creation of training agendas, lesson plans, visual presentations, videos, assessments, and digital simulations.
  • Deliver ad hoc training to premium customers that requires discovery and the development of long-standing customer relationships.
  • Facilitate Instructor-Led Training classes following standard agendas and lesson plans.
  • Where necessary, adapt Instructor-Led Training classes to suit the unique system configuration and/or work processes of each customer.
  • Facilitate group training sessions for customers from multiple organizations concurrently.
  • Present public webinars to large audiences.
  • Answer customer questions in a respectful and informative manner.
  • Ensure training sessions start and end as scheduled.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Direct hands-on experience administering Cybergrants or direct hands-on experience administering another Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) software tool.
  • Instructional Design skills.
  • Ability to develop and foster long-standing customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of one or more Bonterra products from a user and admin perspective.
  • Real-life, industry experience in one or more of the industry domains that Bonterra serves.
  • Ability to present complex technical informative in a clear, relatable manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems independently through self-exploration.
  • Advanced Captivate skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to present remotely for up to 8 hours a day
  • Ability to stand in front of a classroom for up to 8 hours a day.

Compensation

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
