The Online Student Solutions Analyst at Purdue University Online (PUO) plays a pivotal role in optimizing student support systems and vended platforms to enhance the overall student experience. Reporting to the Director of Student Experience, this position is responsible for conducting comprehensive needs assessments, evaluating existing systems, managing vendor contracts and performance, developing reporting and documentation, and coordinating implementation of new solutions to address emerging needs and opportunities within PUO’s student experience ecosystem. In this role, you’ll contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration, where technology serves as an enabler of student experience and student success. You’ll help drive the integration of technology and tools to elevate student experience initiatives by understanding the needs of both online learners and student experience staff. You’ll conduct needs assessments and evaluations with stakeholders, coordinate and assess existing and emerging tools and technologies, and make recommendations for solutions that support organizational goals and continuous improvements. Additionally, you’ll participate in the procurement process, build documentation and implementation plans, help ensure consistent adoption and utilization, and make suggestions for optimizing usage to maximize impact. Additionally, you’ll establish processes for data monitoring and reporting, providing insights into the effectiveness of these tools and informing future decisions.
A significant focus of the role will be on supporting CRM-related initiatives, especially involving Salesforce and Slate (as well as BoilerConnect and Premise). Collaborating closely with key stakeholders such as the Manager of Recruiting and Engagement, the Senior Manager for Yield, and the PUO Salesforce team, you’ll support the integration of tools and technologies critical to enhancing student acquisition efforts. With active involvement in Salesforce’s agile development process, you’ll collaborate to ensure the appropriate prioritization of integrations, enhancements, and reporting tools crucial for the success of yielding initiatives. Finally, your role will involve identifying and proposing solutions to bridge any gaps arising from utilizing multiple CRM systems, ultimately aiming for a cohesive and efficient student experience.
