Purpose of Job:

Digital Trainer will oversee all Tulip and training creation systems configuration, implementation, data analysis, and associated ongoing site needs. This position will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for continual improvement to drive reduction of human errors and improve training time for employees.

Key Activities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop implementation of solutions within the manufacturing operations systems platform. This will include impact to, and interface with, existing processes, equipment automation, related manufacturing applications, training, and associated data.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Manufacturing, IT, Engineering, Quality, cross-functional team members, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and deliver on a strategy that includes the implementation of new solutions, the management/remediation of existing risks, and the continuous improvement of internal operations.
  • Oversee the creation and enhancement of Tulip platform and training creation tools.
  • Function as a technical hands-on working member of the team.
  • Evaluate existing SOPs and processes for automation opportunities, translate opportunities into implementation proposals.
  • Develop the team’s experience with the Tulip platform and grow SME’s capable of managing local / low-level challenges.
  • Coordinate with IT and Engineering to integrate equipment and information systems to automate data exchange and enhance reporting.

Qualifications

  • AS or BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Technology Network Certifications or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with a manufacturing company.
  • Able to identify technology needs, formulate corresponding solutions, and utilize systematic methods/processes to further continuous improvement.
  • Familiar with software development methodologies and best practices, general infrastructure design, and project management concepts and approaches.
  • Comfortable working, and communicating effectively, in a dynamic team-based environment.
  • Hard skills/interests in manufacturing information systems, training, and data analysis

Technical skills:

  • The candidate needs to understand manufacturing shop floor activities and process automation in addition to prior experience with Manufacturing Information System use and support.
