Creators are the heart and soul of TikTok. The Creator team’s mission is to facilitate our Creator community’s growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. This team will also create scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world. The Creator Development team is responsible for tiered Curriculum Development, focusing on product education/adoption, content best practices and reinforcing core narratives that support business goals. This team is also focussed on creator manager enablement, implementing a regular stream of education to increase knowledge of creator managers in core areas that influence creator engagement. This team both centrally supports all regions and executes for North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop tiered curriculums and effective always-on education resources (both for in-person use and digital) delivered in a timely manner that support XFN and Creator needs and support enablement and training of creator managers.
  • Collaborate closely with Creator Growth and Journey team to devise curriculums suitable to grow creators across emerging, established and top creator tiers.
  • Support centralised localisation of resources through ensuring resources are created in a timely manner and handed off to Education Operations to oversee a timely translation process across 7-24 languages.
  • Oversee scalable curriculum development of educational resources to be integrated within scaled creator programs and ensure close collaboration aligned to the mission for each program.

This role is open to LA, NY, Toronto, Singapore, Dubai, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, and London

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications / Education or a related field such as Creator Marketing, User Experience, Technical Writing, Educational Technology, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience developing, producing, launching, and measuring the effectiveness of online & offline education content
  • Highly collaborative with a strong track record of working across teams, organizational structures, geographies to drive impact
  • Ability to develop scalable frameworks and approaches – Experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in user / creator communications with excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with a growth mindset. Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills with an ability to tailor to different audiences at all levels
  • Understanding key business priorities, including the ability to clearly articulate key issues, recommend solutions, and drive projects start-to-finish to serve those core business priorities
  • Understanding of the TikTok platform, TikTok creators, and the current competitive landscape of education and technology.
  • MS/MA/MBA

For Pay Transparency – Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $104711 – $188522 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
