About the Position

Responsible for the production and delivery of online educational content. Works closely with training specialists to deliver and improve online learning products through a learning management system. Also schedules and produces educational webcasts, maintains information contained in its learning object library and ensures proper delivery of material on educational websites.

Position Responsibilities

  • Works closely with internal employees to implement and maintain web-based training.
  • Designs, develops, deploys, and manages e-learning content and multimedia based on business needs.
  • Provides reporting to management on web-based training progression and completion, student usage, and instructor-led training completions.
  • Provides technical support for the organization or educational institution.
  • Implements and evaluates instruction for adult learners.
  • Performs all functions of instructional design including analyzing the learning need, designing and develop the learning solution, and evaluating the outcome.
  • Assist facilitators/trainers in e-learning content understanding and how it relates to other learning activities.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to assist with the development of content that supports what students need to learn, sequencing of the content, and development of content.
  • Ensure curriculum is up to date and relevant to the career skills required for the program/course.
  • Develop objectives and ensure content matches those objectives
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (instructional design, curriculum development, or other related field) and three (3) years of e-learning experience required.
  • Expert knowledge Captivate, Storyline, Articulate, or other eLearning software required.
  • Solid track record in designing strategies for e-learning projects including a training methods, communication, and evaluation.
  • Experience with development of e-learning training workshops, virtual classrooms, and learning content management solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, creative ability, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with instructional and management staff.
  • Experience with rapid development timelines for learning content.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of other technologies such as xAPI and AR/VR a plus.
