We are looking for a passionate Learning and Development Specialist to join us in our Dallas office. This candidate will act as a learning and development specialist on effective and leading-edge learning and development designs that align with learning and talent development strategy to achieve desired business outcomes. Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, develop, and execute Corgan-specific courses relevant to the business practices.
  • Review current L&D portfolio for improvement and upgrade.
  • In collaboration with the L&D Manager, design, develop, evaluate, pilot, and deliver new learning and development programs.
  • Manage and ensure integrity of the learning management system to include working with vendors, system upgrades, maintenance, and advocacy (LearnUpon).
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop and deliver content in a hybrid environment.
  • Create courses using course authoring software (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual classes.
  • Lead, coach and support the success of junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain L&D metrics and analytics.
  • Create, manage and leverage relationships with firm and business colleagues.
  • Manage the course survey process resulting in observations and suggestions for improvement regarding training effectiveness.
  • Support L&D Manager in the promotion of a Strengths-Based Organization (CliftonStrengths).

Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

  • Consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels.
  • Proficient in the entire training process, with experience in building, implementing, and managing training systems, and mastering key points of training work and project operation experience.
  • Proficient in training demand research methods, training plan development, organizational implementation, and training evaluation methods.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles/previous instructional design experience.
  • Strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a complex and matrixed environment.
  • Facility to manage ambiguity across multiple priorities and to know when to escalate issues for final resolution.
  • Exceptional writing skills, creativity, and innovation.
  • Aptitude to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in a learning and development organization.
  • Experience with LearnUpon or similar learning management system.
  • Experience creating and maintaining L&D metrics and analytics.
  • Experience with course authoring software (e.g., Articulate, iSpring Suite, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
  • Experience with CliftonStrengths is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • Minimum 8 years of related professional experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management experience: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables:
    • In Excel, aggregate and analyze operational data to identify insights and trends.
    • In PowerPoint, tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; identify clear and actionable asks.
    • In Word, create clear, concise, professional communications and resources.
    • In Teams, effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiency.
  • CliftonStrengths experience or working within a Strengths-Based organization is a plus.
