The Instructional Designer responsibilities include designing and developing comprehensive learning solutions and content, including researching, pilot testing, validation and maintenance. Partner with subject matter experts (SME’s) and stakeholders to assess training requirements and specifications. The Instructional Designer will use established methodologies in all stages of the instructional design process, including needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The Instructional Designer will also be responsible for gauging learning progress by creating certification criteria and exams. This position utilizes instructional design, performance improvement, and adult learning principles to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate instructional materials for safety training.
