Our startup is in hyper growth mode, scaling in every direction.We are looking for people that possess a true love for learning and have a burning desire to contribute to outcomes that change the world.Position Summary: Transfr is seeking an Instructional Designer/Learning Engineer experienced in developing learning science-based instruction in virtual reality, deploying strong Human Factors skills (UX|LX). This position will be embedded in our Learning Engineering/Instructional Design team and will focus on the instructional design and development of our sims. Applicants should be adept in the application of principles and methods from learning and usability sciences and engineering, with a strong preference for those experienced in XR. The successful candidate will be able to leverage User Centered Design principles to improve the instructional design of our sims by working from a foundation of learning sciences and human factors research, mixing in other technical, design and educational experiences as needed.Duties will include designing and supporting development of VR experiences for training manual (trade) skills and healthcare (prior experience in healthcare domain a plus), developing frameworks and processes for improving useability and learning experience, and working with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:

What we offerThe base salary range for this position is expected to be between $90,000 and $100,000, with the actual base salary amount dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s credentials, relevant experience, and primary job location.
