Collaborate with instructional designers in developing new online courses and updating existing courses for the Online Programs at the David Eccles School of Business. Input course content to Canvas, edit existing content, and review course materials for quality assurance. Work with a team to build engaging and interactive online and hybrid course experiences.

  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Experience with Canvas LMS as a student or instructor.
  • Experience learning and utilizing new software.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performs usability testing, quality checks, and accessibility checks for online and hybrid courses.
  • Assist in the process of creating, developing, and maintaining online and hybrid courses.
  • Research emerging technologies and approaches to online teaching and learning.
  • Perform testing, piloting, proofreading, and updating of course materials.
  • Under supervision, provide support in active courses.
  • Maintain course development-related documentation and records.
  • Report to supervisors for assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Flexible schedule, but must be willing and able to meet all assigned deadlines

We need detail-oriented, creative, proactive, and diverse team members with a wide scope of knowledge. Preference given to students working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, instructional design/technology, or related field.
