Job title:  Instructional Designer

Department / Division: ABO Engagement/Sales

Salary Range: $78,108/yr – $96,486/yr plus Bonus

Location: Ada, MI (Hybrid)

What We’re Looking For: 

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to help design a learning and training curriculum for our Account Managers to follow. Our Account Managers work directly with our ABOs to ensure they have the all of the knowledge they need to be successful in the field; your job would be to equip those Account Managers with that knowledge. 

Some of the skills your materials will teach are:

  • Amway-specific knowledge and education
  • Soft skills and communication
  • Education on up-and-coming practices and trends, including AI

Your days would consist of:

  • Developing training materials and modules for our 400+ Account Managers around the world
  • Engaging with our global markets to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum
  • Training Account Managers and account teams directly

As we continue the shift to being a Health and Wellbeing company, you will be at the forefront of helping our Account Managers help our ABOs in making that shift. The materials and instructional journey that you design will shape their experience.  

There will also be some international travel in this role to work with Account Managers in global markets. You will be expected to be in our Ada, MI headquarters on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 

Required qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing curriculums, either as a formal teacher/professor or in corporate instructional design/training and development
  • Bachelors degree in Education, Business, Communications, or similar

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Highly proficient in both writing and communicating via written correspondence
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations

The ABO Empowerment team that the ABO Recognition team is a member of is focused on understanding the voice of our ABOs and developing programs and tools that equip and reward them for self-empowered success.  We will identify and amplify the best practices of ABOs through storytelling that includes approaches, motivators, behaviors, anticipated results, and opportunities for scaling.  We will design and deliver rewarding experiences that fuel the ABO throughout their journey.

This role is “Not” eligible for sponsorship.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
