This is a remote, work-from-home position. We will consider applicants that reside in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina and Utah.
Pay: $90,000-$100,000 Annually DOE

Position Summary of the Director of Educational Technology:
The Director of Educational Technology will foster innovative use of technology to enhance student learning and outcomes in hybrid and online learning across all Bryan University divisions.
Responsibilities of the Director of Educational Technology:
- Promote the adoption and understanding of artificial intelligence technologies across the university. Showcase the benefits and potential uses of AI and help the university stay at the forefront of new developments.
- Keep a pulse on emerging technologies.
- Partner with instructional designers and IT on the integration of the learning management system and technology tools.
- Proactively create and manage resources and documentation to enhance meaningful adoption of technologies.
- Partner with Instructional Designers to assist faculty in the deployment and adoption of technologies.
- Support LMS administration, including daily operations, identifying enhancements and customizations to meet learning goals.
- Lead the leveraging of reporting capabilities in all educational technologies.
- As part of the Innovation team processes, research, test, and recommend technology tools for pilot and adoption.
- Actively participate in and meaningfully contribute to strategic discussions and on-going planning processes as a member of the Innovation team.
- Work cross-functionally to contribute to the resolution of complex problems related to educational technology.
- Liaise with Information Technology Department, as needed.
- Manage educational technology vendor relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Director of Educational Technology:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent required.
- Minimum 4-6 years’ related experience, including the use of AI.
- 4+ years of experience in a role focused on technology advocacy, AI, or related area.
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software technologies.
- Ability to sit for six to eight hours.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule at least 40 hours per week.
