Job Purpose

This position supports the Parts, Service & Technical business objectives by managing an Instructional Design Team to develop technical training materials & resources in response to market studies and needs analyses, educating Honda/Acura dealerships, owners, and AHM Field personnel.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage instructional design quality.
  • Manage curriculum development based on market studies and needs.
  • Oversee project schedules, including special projects. Coordinate schedules with production and learning management system teams.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • B.A./B.S. degree in Automotive Technology, Instructional Design or equivalent work experience.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in the automotive industry, with specific knowledge of Honda and Acura products and dealership operations.
  • 5 years supervisory experience 
  • 5 years project management experience
  • Knowledge of Honda training and publications production process helpful
  • Ability to proficiently use MS Office 
  • Results oriented 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Knowledge of web development helpful
