A Multimedia Director in eLearning is a professional who is responsible for overseeing the development of multimedia elements for use in online courses and other educational materials.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Multimedia Director to lead the development of innovative and engaging multimedia elements for our eLearning courses and educational materials. As the Multimedia Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, design, and production of all multimedia content, including videos, animations, and interactive modules.

The Multimedia Director will work closely with our instructional design and subject matter expert teams to ensure that all multimedia elements align with course objectives and learning outcomes. You will also be responsible for managing the multimedia team, setting goals, and providing feedback and guidance to ensure that all team members are meeting project deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multimedia development and a proven track record of leading creative teams to success. You should be highly skilled in video editing, motion graphics, and interactive design, and be comfortable working with a variety of multimedia tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and production of multimedia elements for eLearning courses and educational materials, including videos, animations, and interactive modules
• Edit and produce high-quality video content for use in eLearning materials
• Create animations and interactive elements using tools such as Adobe After Effects and Articulate Storyline
• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure that all multimedia elements align with course objectives and learning outcomes
• Manage the multimedia team, including setting goals, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all team members are meeting project deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in eLearning multimedia development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in multimedia development, instructional design, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in multimedia development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong portfolio showcasing your multimedia development skills
• Proficiency with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and motion graphics tools, such as Adobe After Effects
• Experience with interactive design tools, such as Articulate Storyline, is a plus
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
