By using this website, you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website or services. Please also review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are not part of this agreement.
1. Rules for Use
To use Teamed’s services, you must register for an account (“Account”). When creating an Account, you certify that the information you provide is accurate and true. You agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws, including privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, equal opportunity laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Use your real name on your profile and company information.
- Use the services in a professional manner.
You agree not to:
- Act in an unlawful or unprofessional manner, including being dishonest, abusive, or discriminatory.
- Misrepresent your identity, your current or previous positions, qualifications, or affiliations with a person or entity.
- Disclose information that you do not have the consent to disclose.
- Create or operate a pyramid scheme, fraud, or other similar practices.
2. Payment, Refunds, and Balances Due
Job Board and Talent Subscription Payments:
- Payment for job board postings and talent subscriptions must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Refund Policy: Payments are non-refundable except in cases of verified errors on our platform.
- Balances Due: Any unpaid balances for services rendered may result in suspension or termination of your account until payment is made in full.
3. Job Posting Rules
Transparency Requirements:
- Job postings must adhere to applicable state pay transparency laws and regulations. Failure to comply may result in the removal of your job posting. For the latest information, refer to this resource.
Non-Discrimination Policy:
- Job postings must comply with U.S. anti-discrimination laws, including but not limited to 8 U.S.C. § 1324b, prohibiting discrimination on the basis of citizenship, immigration status, national origin, and all other traits protected by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Teamed reserves the right to remove any job posting that violates these requirements.
4. Career Board Policies
- Teamed reserves the right to remove any content from the career board if we find it to be unprofessional, inaccurate, discriminatory, or offensive.
- Career board resources must be truthful and relevant to career advancement in instructional design, learning and development and related fields.
5. Talent Pool Policies
- Users may not scrape or extract information from the talent pool or contact candidates outside the Teamed platform.
- Teamed reviews and evaluates candidates to the best of our ability but does not conduct extensive background checks. We are not responsible for the validity or accuracy of candidate information.
- Termination
- If you breach these Terms, we may terminate your account or suspend access to our website immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever. Decisions about termination are made at our sole discretion.
7. Content
You are responsible for any content (“Content”) you post, including job postings, reviews, profiles, and portfolios. You agree that the content is accurate and true, and you will indemnify Teamed against any claims arising from your posted content.
Links To Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Teamed. Review our Privacy Policy for more details on our relationships with third-party web sites.
Teamed has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.
You further acknowledge and agree that Teamed shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
8. Exclusivity
As a job seeker or employer, you agree to use Teamed as an intermediary for engagements initiated on our platform. Attempts to circumvent the system may result in account termination.
9. Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination
Teamed is an equal opportunity employer and talent placement agency. We prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, veteran status, or disability.
In accordance with 8 U.S.C. § 1324b, we prohibit discrimination on the basis of citizenship or immigration status, and national origin (1) in the recruiting and referral process; and (2) in the hiring and firing process;
- including citizenship, immigration status, and national origin as prohibited bases of discrimination; Respondent shall include these bases of discrimination in any similar Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) statements Respondent provides in printed or electronic materials to the public or employees; and
- we refer applicants and employees who complain, formally or informally, of discrimination in the recruiting, referring, hiring, firing, or employment eligibility verification and re-verification processes immediately to the Immigrant and Employee Rights Section by directing the affected individual to the IER Poster and IER’s worker hotline and website, and advise the affected individual of his or her right to file a charge of discrimination with IER (see posters in appendix section; and
- we prohibit any reprisal action against an individual for having opposed any employment practice made unlawful by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b, or for filing any charge, or participating in any lawful manner in any investigation or action under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b.
10. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
