Team Lead, Learning Design and Technology

Build your career with us! We have an exciting opportunity available for a Team Lead, Learning Design and Technology to join our Learning and Development team. This role supports a team of instructional designers and learning technology consultants in the development and implementation of innovative learning experiences and technologies to enhance team members’ skills and capabilities across the organization.

A strong background with AI-powered learning technologies and innovative design approaches is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on day-to-day responsibilities, roadblocks, and work assignment questions, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Encourage continuous professional development and drive the adoption of new learning technologies.
• Lead the development of comprehensive learning experiences (eLearning, simulation, workshops, learning journeys), incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as AI integration with live feedback, AI avatars, AI chatbots, gamification, virtual reality (VR), persona-based simulations, and interactive video content.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of state-of-the-art learning technologies, including our learning management system (LMS), learning experience platform (LXP), and adaptive learning platforms. Ensure seamless integration and optimal utilization of these technologies to support learning initiatives.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify learning needs and ensure training programs meet organizational objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration to tailor learning solutions to specific requirements.
• Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and enhance learning initiatives, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Introduce and integrate new technologies, platforms, apps, and innovative approaches to enhance all aspects of our Learning and Development operations. This includes the design and development of learning materials, deployment strategies, content organization, and overall approach to L&D.

Our Ideal Candidate would have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Adult Education, or equivalent years of experience is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience is required. Experience in a Corporate or Healthcare learning development environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in AI-powered learning design and technologies, including AI chatbots, conversational AI platforms, ChatGPT, prompt engineering, and AI-driven video and graphic generation, is highly preferred.
• Experience in leading project teams or supporting a team of instructional designers and/or LMS technology teams.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LXP), and other educational technologies.
• Expertise in instructional design principles and practices, including the design and development of learning materials using Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
• Experience building modern learning videos, graphics, simulations, gamification, and other engaging learning experience elements.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in a large, highly matrixed healthcare/business organization is preferred.
• Certifications in learning design or technology are highly preferred.
• A portfolio or website to showcase some of your best work.

• Experience building modern learning videos, graphics, simulations, gamification, and other engaging learning experience elements.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
