The Global Sales Training Team is dedicated to delivering learning solutions that accelerate sales performance.  ​​​​​​Enhancing sales skills, knowledge, and sales leadership attributes to maximize success of our revenue teams is our top priority.  The Global Sales Training Instructional Designer will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of learning solutions to support global revenue teams.  This position will report into the Global Manager of Sales Training Projects & Systems Management and be part of the extended Global Sales Training Department.  They will participate in cross-functional initiatives to ensure successful content delivery by collaborating with commercial stakeholders across all regions, including North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC.  You will build and maintain trust and credibility with global stakeholders and extended team members while leveraging strong project management, time management, & problem-solving skills.

  • You will oversee and manage learning programs to align cross-functional/global teams on priorities and objectives to deliver desired organizational outcomes and enable training effectiveness.
  • You will provide lead consultation on complex initiatives to align tactics and systems to the organization’s strategic goals.
  • You will determine and direct applicable evaluation methods and data retrieval that align and support organizational goals.
  • You will design and implement innovative internal process solutions that increase efficiencies in operational processes.
  • You will collaborate with a variety of internal/external business partners on needs analyses and designing customized solutions, including workshops, projects, and materials

What makes you successful:

  • Your are proficient in various instructional design tools and platforms and leverage working knowledge of adult learning principles in working with and overseeing learning management systems (Workday, Success Factors, etc.) and learning design software (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, etc.)
  • Your experience in the utilization of project management methodology, time management skills, and problem-solving skills will help you in leading and managing large scale, high-profile initiatives
  • Proficient at PowerPoint design for leadership audiences and storytelling with data
  • Proficient in learning/training and design/development methodology
  • Proven skills in verbal/written communication, presentation skills, and facilitation skills

Travel Required:

  • 15 – 25%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
