Job Description

Responsible for delivering, organizing, managing, and overseeing all aspects of software training programs within the organization. This role ensures that all training activities are aligned with the company’s objectives, that training materials are up-to-date, and that training sessions are effective and engaging.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring content is presented in an engaging and understandable manner, adjusting the delivery based on audience comprehension and feedback.
  • Assign and ensure training resources are available to train for all Virtual Classes in North America.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate software training sessions for both employees and customers, ensuring optimal attendance and minimal disruption to work schedules.
  • Design, develop, and build comprehensive training content, including slide decks, hands-on exercises, user guides, video tutorials, and other training materials and ensuring all trainers/regional techs are comfortable delivering content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, software developers, and the training team to ensure training materials are current, relevant, and effective.
  • Gather feedback from trainees after each session to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Maintain records of all training sessions, including attendees, dates, and training outcomes.
  • Identify and establish best practices for leveraging training software and platforms to enhance the learning experience, track progress, and assess the effectiveness of training.
  • Manage and develop content for company initiatives based on company need and direction.

Qualifications

  • Associates Related Field required
  • 2+ Years related experience creating instructional content required
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
  • Able to perform mathematical skills such as calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and able to apply concepts of basic geometry
  • Ability to read and understand prints and schematics
  • Ability to use small hand-power tools, including reading a tape measure with 1/32-inch increments
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

Soft Skills

  • Familiarity with modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using training software and platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different departments.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple projects, perform complex tasks, organize, and follow through consistently and work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid drivers’ license and proof of auto insurance required.
  • Up to 20% of travel to other facilities and/or for customer sites as required.

Physical Demands

  • This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.
