The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

Depending on location this may be a hybrid position (2 days in office) if you are within 50 miles of the following locations: Boston MA, Portsmouth NH, Seattle WA, Indianapolis IN, Columbus OH, Plano TX.

The Talent Pipeline team partners with business and function leaders to define skill needs for today and tomorrow and co-creates offerings in service of selection and developing our talent and evolving our diverse, global workforce to grow and contribute to our shared purpose and enterprise goals.

This role provides advanced program support, analytics, reporting, and project management and administration to partners in People, Purpose and Brand and leaders across the Enterprise.

This role creates, supports, and helps implement talent programs and processes (e.g. Job Analysis, Skills Planning, Career Framework, Selection, Development Assessments, Talent Review, Onboarding, Succession Planning, Development Planning, Talent Mobility, Performance Processes).

Responsibilities

  • Supports enterprise-wide projects through project management and administration, process documentation, data gathering and analysis, and presentation of results with increasing complexity and scope.
  • Responsible for leading a work stream of high-profile projects and/or leadership of a moderate project in complexity and scope.
  • Conducts research by gathering and analyzing data from internal and external sources. Creates proposals for improvements for existing processes and tools as well as recommendations for new solutions.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert of supportive program processes, the creation of performance support tools, and the design of communication strategies with limited supervision.
  • May be responsible for coaching and developing rotational employees and interns, assigning work as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of human resources policies, programs, and practices
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of learning or talent practices (e.g. talent/succession planning, leadership development, performance evaluation and training)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Virtual Communication Platforms (i.e. Zoom, Teams) and learning management systems
  • Proficient in creating PowerPoint slides and using Excel to analyze data
  • 5+ years of relevant experience to include learning & talent development work
  • Competencies typically acquired through a bachelor`s degree (preferably within HR, or a related field) or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
