Overview

Analyze, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training solutions in alignment with the instructional design strategy to increase job performance and develop the skills of the workforce in order to execute the Sheetz mission.

Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Define measurable, individual performance goals, monitor, and communicate via regular feedback and annual performance reviews for direct reports. Provide developmental opportunities and coach direct reports to maximize development of internal talent.
  • Proactively identify team members needing support and identify best approach to provide support in developing training solutions to ensure accurate estimates and successful execution are delivered with Business Partner collaboration.
  •  Manage assigned projects to identify and resolve barriers and ensure program deliverables, milestones, and timelines are met for individual projects and teams assigned projects. Will manage multiple assigned projects at once, individually and through direct reports.
  • Conduct needs analysis, which includes, but is not limited to, analyzing learners, conducting task analysis, performing gap analysis, and establishing measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the training solution as needed to measure learner’s knowledge, skills, behaviors and improved job performance. Monitor results of training execution, training completion, and training effectiveness and adjust training as needed.
  •  Design and developing training solutions adhering to Sheetz process, standards, templates and instructional technology to ensure the desired performance objectives are met, in alignment with department and/or organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Subject Matter Experts, Business Partners and internal team to integrate training solutions, implement learning objectives, review content for accuracy to ensure efficient and effective solutions are provided within appropriate curriculums.
  • Research best practices and trends in the learning and development industry to recommend the best solution for all training efforts to continuously evolve the learner experience.

Qualifications

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field required
  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in analyzing, designing, developing and evaluating training solutions required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ project management experience required.
  • Minimum 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching and facilitating preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Design Thinking/Instructional Design Certification preferred
