The Opportunity

As a Technical Course Developer at Adobe, you will have the chance to craft the future of digital experiences by crafting and developing world-class technical training. What you’ll Do

  • Design training solutions that are both effective and impactful. 
  • Author eLearning content using tools such as Rise 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate, and similar solutions. 
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance instructional design processes, improve training effectiveness, and streamline project management tasks. 
  • Develop practical and engaging materials for facilitators and participants, including presentations, job aids, video storyboards, simulations, and other resources aligned with the training strategy. 
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Monitor program material for accuracy and relevance, making updates as needed to align with current practices. 
  • Apply adult learning principles, learning methodologies, and focused instructional design approaches to training solutions. 
  • Create learner-centered materials and employ appropriate methods for effective solution delivery. 
  • Work together with customers, subject matter experts, and external organizations to develop curriculum tailored to training needs. 
  • Develop outlines, storyboards, scripts, and other documents for communication and creation of training courses and materials. 
  • Identify, design, and implement online, blended, and micro-training solutions that align with existing programs and prioritize learner needs. 
  • Generate supporting media such as voiceovers, videos, simulations, role plays, games, etc., to enhance learning outcomes. 

What you need to succeed

  • Proficient understanding of the ADDIE instructional design and development model. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or 10+ years experience developing technical education, consulting, writing, or curriculum development for SAAS companies 
  • Candidates with a Master’s Degree or relevant experience are encouraged to apply. 
  • Fast learner with the ability to develop emerging subject matter expertise in one or more of Adobe’s Experience Cloud Solutions.  
  • 5+ years experience with project management software (preferably Workfront) 
  • 10+ years of developing content and curriculum for learning/training 
  • Expert communication, interpersonal, problem solving and relationship skills 
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information to build simple training solutions 
  • Proficient at turning raw information into cohesive learning based on industry standards and methodologies 
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and able to prioritize personal workload 
  • Exceptional colleague who works well in a team and values mentorship from peers. 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to follow and improve on processes and procedures 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $97,900 — $176,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
