CodePath is a national non-profit that is reprogramming higher education to create the most diverse generation of software engineers, CTOs, and founders. We deliver industry-vetted courses and career support centered on the needs of Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, and low-income students. Our students train with senior engineers, intern at top companies, and rise together to become the tech leaders of tomorrow. As of 2023, we’ve served 10,000 students a year nationwide, and we plan to scale up to ~100,000 students a year by 2028.
Founded in 2017, CodePath has taught over 26,000 students and delivered courses across over 110 universities. About the Role

Compensation: $165,000 to $200,000 per year
The Senior Director of Learning will spearhead CodePath’s Learning team in revolutionizing post-secondary computer science education. Working in tandem with senior leadership, this role focuses on elevating graduation rates and fostering prosperous careers in technology for students from underserved communities. Through close collaboration with organizational leaders and team members, the Director of Learning will elevate the quality and efficiency of CodePath’s educational experiences to unprecedented levels.
The Senior Director of Learning will own the refinement, strategy and programmatic implementation of the pedagogy, technology, and systems central to our students’ personalized education. Joining a team that currently serves up to 10,000 students each year, they will be responsible for enhancing the impact of our curriculum, scaling the reach of our programs to 100,000 students annually, reducing the incremental cost of each additional student served, continually improving our operational infrastructure, and delivering a student experience that maximizes student achievement and technical excellence.
Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of learning science and the principles of educating college students to become top-tier software engineers. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in education, who is skilled in designing learning experiences that drive mastery and can lead diverse teams with complementary skill sets. The role involves advancing the integration of mastery-based learning with innovative AI technologies, enhancing the educational experience for both students and educators. CodePath has standardized salaries based on the position’s level, no matter where you live. For this role, we’re hiring for a Senior Director level position at an annual salary of $165,000 to $200,000. Salary is determined based on your relevant experience and skills as evaluated through our interview process.
