What you’ll need to succeed as a Senior Content Developer, Learning and Development at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in training, instructional design, learning technologies, or related field or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of learning design experience from initial analysis, planning, design, and on through delivery, implementation, and evaluation creating blended learning solutions, it includes both instructor-led and self-paced e-learning courses
• 2 years of experience working with learning designers and executive management stakeholders
• Able to manage multiple learning projects at a time
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of current issues related to learning technology and theory

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years of learning design experience from initial analysis, planning, design, and on through delivery, implementation, and evaluation creating blended learning solutions, it includes both instructor-led and self-paced e-learning courses
• Experience with technology used to create and enhance learning material, such as, Storyline, Rise360, Captivate, Photoshop, After Effects, Camtasia, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience with learning management systems
• Experience working within the transportation industry, particularly trucking and logistics

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze behavioral and learning needs of audience and then lead the end-to-end creation of a learning solution, including storyboarding, scripting, content creation, and complete learning plan
• Project manage development of learning material, partnering with operations project management, Learning and Development leadership, and other content developers
• Design engaging, high-quality, interactive, multi-modal content for diverse internal learning audience; solutions to include instructor-led, in-person or virtual courses, videos, e-learning, case studies, games, on-the-job training, and quizzes. 
• Create documentation such as facilitator and participant materials, process guides, and work instructions; create and update learner support training sites utilizing SharePoint
• Utilize data-driven insights and learning analytics to continuously evaluate, refine, and improve learning experiences
