Summary
Reporting to and supporting the Director of Assessment, Office of Assessment and Institutional Research, the Senior Assessment Coordinator will provide leadership for the assessment of student learning outcomes for the University’s academic programs and administrative units through training and support for assessment activities and technologies that assist with collecting and interpreting student learning or unit outcome data.
This position will facilitate the development and implementation of effective assessment strategies, approaches, practices, and resources to support faculty and staff. In addition to academic program and support units throughout the University, the Senior Assessment Coordinator will provide support for ongoing assessment of the general education Core Curriculum offered through the Newcomb-Tulane College (NTC), including developing and managing an infrastructure for assessing student learning within the general education core curriculum. They will work with the NTC Associate Dean responsible for assessment of the core curriculum by being a resource for coordinating the assessment schedule, collection of data, and compilation of data and findings.

This position is classified as “exempt, salaried” and is assigned to pay grade 26.
