Minimum qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in program management.

  • Experience leading change management efforts and building communications strategies.

  • Experience managing and influencing stakeholders across the organization, and driving program initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing, landing, scaling, and refining online assessments.

  • Experience successfully leading complex change management efforts and building comprehensive communications strategies.

  • Experience navigating an ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders, and inspiring a distributed group of contributors and leaders to act.

  • Ability to design, scale, and oversee high-quality operational workflows across various functions.

  • Ability to think strategically, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.

The Global Process Owner (GPO) Recruiting and Compensation team is the steward for Google’s hiring process. We ensure that the hiring process is fit for purpose, evolves with changing business needs, and ensures an optimal experience for candidates, interviewers, hiring managers, and recruiters.

As an Online Assessments Program Manager, you will lead initiatives that evolve Google’s hiring process, and focus on delivering the future of online assessments. You will work strategically with multiple departments across Google to design, implement, and land assessments that impact our interviewer, hiring manager, and applicant communities.

Please note that this position is a fixed-term contract with an end date of November 2024.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$187,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage and influence complex partner relationships to ensure overall objectives are met. Understand and represent analytical research, our hiring philosophy, and operational risk and opportunity across a portfolio of initiatives. Drive consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making.

  • Develop and translate roadmap and strategy into daily operations. Work with leaders and teams to shape the strategic agenda for the upcoming year, leveraging those plans to inform resourcing decisions, and drive progress against a portfolio of large-scale initiatives.

  • Define, land, and maintain a portfolio of online assessments for evaluating candidates across the hiring ecosystem. Lead and influence the design, testing, and implementation of online assessments, including partnering with Engineering teams on tooling functionality, scaling operational workflows for applicant support, designing and implementing comprehensive change management strategies, and maintaining the quality of these assessments.
