As a Manager, Learning Programs & Strategy your responsibilities will include:

  • Have a strong internal consulting focus, acting as a thought leader and advocate for the development and delivery of industry-leading learning solutions that will enable our business units and service lines to achieve their strategic goals
  • Assess current performance gaps and learning needs, and collaborate with other learning professionals to implement creative, industry-leading learning solutions
  • Provide value-added professional advice to business partners for enhancing business results and employee effectiveness through learning
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning solutions
  • Occasionally develop methods and materials for learning interventions including, but not limited to, ILT, workshops, conferences, e-Learning and job aids as needed
  • Apply professional experience and judgment in the planning and accomplishment of projects, initiatives and professional goals
  • Manage learning design and delivery to meet timelines and budgets

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Manager, Learning Programs & Strategy? Like the colour purple? Great. Here’s a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:

  • Completed post-secondary education, professional certification or equivalent experience in training and development / instructional design – CTDP Designation would be an asset
  • 7+ years’ experience in adult learning or management/performance consulting
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build relationships with and influence individuals from all areas, role levels and functions in the firm
  • Have strong consultative skills, are very creative and agile, and possess excellent SME and stakeholder interviewing skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering best-in-class on-line/e-learning courses and in-person development solutions
  • Have solid knowledge and experience of course development software, such as Articulate/Storyline and at least one Learning Management System
  •  Have strengths in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  •  Have experience in basic project management and client relationship management
  • Can share samples of your work during the interview process, if requested
  • May have additional assets such as experience with graphic media tools, video, animation/motion graphics and simulations; background in/knowledge of Accounting practices; certifications/experience in
  • Design Thinking, Change Management, Project Management, Lean/Six Sigma
