Who we’re looking for

Toyota and Lexus’ Brand Engagement Center (BEC) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Learning and Development and Knowledge Management Manager to in our world-class contact center.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Operations Support, this role will lead, identify and prioritize Brand Engagement Center job specific training.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, develop and deliver job-specific training for all Brand Engagement Center job-specific functions for both TMS and external business partners and for all job levels within the BEC.
  • Contribute to thought leadership on instructional design/knowledge management best practices and implementation of blended learning, including identifying and implementing innovative technologies and approaches.
  • Maximize learning resources to address all Operations key priorities, initiatives, campaigns, systems updates/conversions, and long-term strategic objectives and ensure all Facilitators are effective, inclusive, energetic proponents of the BEC Learners
  • Ensure Team Members are effective contributors in all aspects of Content Creation and management of knowledge articles to ensure content is accurate, current, and easily accessed by the end user at their time of need.
  • Leverage and manage external consulting development services and learning/knowledge management solutions to ensure speed of delivery and development costs are within allocated budget. Ensure the solutions are effectively used to maximize their impact on the end users.
  • Oversee team development, including hiring, performance appraisals, coaching and leadership development to foster a culture of excellence, diversity, inclusivity, and creativity

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven professional experience in all aspects of the learning function: content development, facilitation/delivery, content management, knowledge management, change management, human performance improvement, skills measurement and assessment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience with team development, including hiring, performance appraisals, coaching and leadership development to foster a culture of excellence, diversity, inclusivity, and creativity
  • Exceptional written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills

Added bonus if you have

  • 10 years of professional experience in all aspects of the learning function: content development, facilitation/delivery, content management, knowledge management, change management, human performance improvement, skills measurement and assessment
  • Demonstrated skills with authoring tools and a learning management system
  • Training certifications: CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development from ATD – Association for Talent Development)
