As a Learning Tech Manager, you’ll leverage technology to scale learning experiences and drive our AI education programs for Asanas. Additionally, you’ll lead knowledge management initiatives to scale and automate learning through technology. This role demands strategic thinking, creativity, and expertise in learning technologies, AI, and knowledge management. You will report to the Head of Learning and Development and collaborate closely with the People team, education partners, and leadership community at Asana.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve

  • Develop a knowledge management strategy that supports our northstar learning tech stack vision
  • Collaborate with SMEs, partners, and vendors to design, implement, optimize, and evaluate comprehensive learning technologies
  • Drive engaging learning experiences for AI and Asana product education, ensuring Asana employees gain proficiency and alignment with company goals
  • Drive seamless integration of learning technologies with Asana data systems, delivering powerful insights and comprehensive reporting to elevate our learning and development strategy.
  • Co-develop strategies to scale and globalize learning experiences using learning technologies and AI, driving implementation, measurement, and automation to optimize learner engagement and streamline backend administration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive learning innovation framework, and implement effective communication and change management strategies.
  • Develop and implement consistent operational protocols for learning innovation through technology, ensuring clarity, compliance, and seamless execution across all cross-functional partners.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Knowledge Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in learning and development or enablement with significant expertise in learning technologies, AI, knowledge management
  • Passion for facilitating learning programs especially onboarding programs.
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and scaling learning tech solutions and/or knowledge management initiatives
  • Strategic thinking and leadership abilities, capable of shaping and driving the learning innovation vision at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively with SMEs, senior leaders, partners, and vendors.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills, with a history of leading high-impact learning sessions for diverse audiences.

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we’re committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $164,000 – $208,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
