  • The ClassLink team is a family of dedicated people who strive to make a difference in education. We do this by making and delivering great products. We rely on our 3 core values to lead us in our day to day, guide our company’s actions, and serve as our cultural cornerstones. They are:
  • Strive to Grow
  • Deliver Worthwhile Experiences
  • Contribute with Heart

Are you energized by creating high-quality, impactful learning experiences in an extremely fast-paced environment? Do you have a keen attention to detail? Let’s talk!

The Learning Design (LD) team strives to provide meaningful learning experiences for customers who use our Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools.

We’re looking to find a passionate, outgoing team member who enjoys the agile course development process. As a Learning Experience Designer (LX), you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for crafting “just in time” micro-learning experiences on the technical implementation and usage of the ClassLink Suite.

What Will You Do?

  • Design, build, and update stellar online learning experiences for the ClassLink Suite of products
    • Courses include a light touch of humor, simulations, high-quality videos, and more to engage learners
    • The LD Team uses Articulate Rise, TechSmith (Camtasia/Snag-It), and Adobe CC to publish content
  • Leverage adult learning and multimedia theories to develop relevant learning experiences for ClassLink product training
  • Utilize Project Management skills and strategies in workflows and workload management
  • Participate in ClassLink product sprint reviews
  • Influence key stakeholders to invest in ClassLink product improvements continually
  • Work independently and collaboratively to problem solve and pivot between multiple priorities following an agile development schedule
  • And, of course, other magical tasks as assigned

Your First 30, 60, 90 Days:

  • 30 Days: Complete your onboarding tasks to become familiar with ClassLink’s Learning Design team’s processes and daily practices. Attend product sprint reviews to become familiar with ClassLink products. Begin collaborating on small projects to understand workflows and start building relationships with team members.
  • 60 Days: Take ownership of your first project from start to finish, applying the standards and styles of ClassLink. You’ll be expected to handle the course development process with minimal guidance and contribute ideas to improve learning experiences.
  • 90 Days: Manage multiple projects independently, demonstrating your ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines. By this point, you’ll be fully integrated into the team, actively collaborating with stakeholders, and consistently delivering high-quality content to ClassLink customers and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design (or similar field) required. Masters or post-graduate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning, or similar field
  • Rapid content development experience
  • Video editing software experience (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere)
  • Demonstrated portfolio of work
  • Previous remote work experience
  • Travel: Minimal, as needed (up to 15%). The team usually connects twice a year for in-person experiences.

What Will Make You Stand Out?

  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Engaging communication and training skills, both written and spoken communication
  • You are based in or near ET time zone
  • Strong interpersonal skills—able to quickly establish rapport with others
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze problems and exercise independent judgment
  • Strong ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to apply a light touch of professional humor and use emojis in communication
  • Enjoys a good GIF and appreciates jovial work colleagues
  • Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills, with demonstrated ability to achieve planned results
  • Comfortable with joining virtual meetings with your webcam activated

This fully remote position reports directly to the Director of Learning Design. The application process is intentionally easy. No need to jump through a million hoops, typing the same content in a variety of different text fields. Instead of a Cover Letter, the LD team would like to know the top 10 things we should know about you. Go beyond professional skills (we can look at your resume for those details ) — think about hobbies, fun facts, etc.
