Some of what you will do:

The Leadership Development Consultant designs, develops, and implements innovative and high-impact leadership development solutions that align with Staples goals, culture, and values. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organizational & Leadership Development (O&LD), the Leadership Development Consultant works closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to assess needs for leadership development solutions. The Leadership Development Consultant researches and innovates new ways to support Staples’ learning culture to continuously build and enhance our leadership bench strength.

Specifically, You Will:

  • Support Staples’ leadership development strategy by offering programs tailored to specific leadership needs, whether they are emerging, new, existing, or experienced leaders.
  • Oversee multiple, complex leadership development projects, while maintaining a detailed and structured approach.
  • Design, develop, and curate digital, virtual, and in-person leadership programs and competency-based/soft skills learning solutions (e.g., eLearning, instructor-led training, action and blended learning).
  • Facilitate leadership development sessions (virtual and in-person) to Staples associates and leaders at all levels.
  • Partner with external vendors to manage the design and development of deliverables within leadership development solutions.

Some of what you need:

  • 5-8 years of Learning & Development experience in a consulting or business partner capacity.
  • Experience and demonstrated portfolio in leadership and management skills development, advanced instructional design experience with creating formal learning programs, coaching programs, mentoring, and competency-based training.
  • Excellent knowledge of e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word).
