Your impact

The Lead, Learning & LMS is responsible for implementing and improving learning standards and Learning Management System (LMS)-related processes for Newmont globally.

As part of our team you will

  • Implement and improve the process to prepare training materials that require a global standard using content profile/brief prepared by subject matter experts. Ensure optionality for BU / site localization.
  • Implement and improve processes related to Newmont’s LMS including liaising with functions and sites on requirements, defining and testing required functionality, liaising with HRIS/IT on configuration, SuccessFactors platform roadmap and updates, administering metadata, preparing training for LMS users.
  • Implement and improve the process for training health checks to assess health of training function at each site; identify and recommend priorities for improvement and investment
  • Implement and improve the process to monitor and report on training compliance for programs that require a global standard.
  • Coordinate and execute training standards.
  • Manage training-related projects as needed.
  • Allocate work to your team and contribute to achieving the team goals.
  • Review how team members are performing and recognize work through feedback and coaching.
  • Foster a climate of inclusion where team members feel safe to contribute and collaborate

Prerequisites for success in this role

  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), Specific experience with SuccessFactors LMS preferred.
  • Understanding of preferred learning standards, data analysis, change management and communications, project management.
  • Awareness of learning innovation, technology and eLearning designer software.
  • Familiarity with IDE (Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity) strategies.
  • Proficiency in learning standards.
  • Proficiency in change management and communication.
  • Proficiency in project management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, spreadsheets, presentations, word documents, and sharepoint.

Your work environment

  • The preferred location for this role is our headquarters in Denver, CO but qualified candidates in proximity to one of our operations or regional offices in North America are encouraged to apply as remote options may be considered.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Ability to accommodate meeting times outside typical business hours to attend global calls.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $124,000 to 162,750. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
