Overview
Clarkson University invites applications for an Instructional Designer I (ID) to join the Teaching & Learning Corner team in the Office of Information Technology. This position provides expertise to faculty in course design and creation, incorporating best practices in pedagogy, methodology, use of digital content, and course outcomes. The ID offers direct technical support to faculty, staff, and students utilizing various technologies in face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. Professional development is encouraged and supported. The ID will maintain expertise on supported digital technologies, including Moodle, integrated digital tools, and communication tools. A successful candidate will be able to work on a highly collaborative technical team to provide training and documentation to the University community. Preference will be given to candidates looking to work on-site at the Potsdam campus. However, Clarkson is also open to considering Hybrid and/or Fully Remote options for this position.
