Job Description 

What You’ll Do

As our Instructional Designer you will design engaging learning experiences using a variety of technologies and methodologies. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to understand learning goals and desired outcomes and deliver compelling course content and learning activities to help learners retain and apply what they have learned. The Instructional Designer will report to the Senior Directir, Leadership and Organizational Development and can be remote within the United States

Responsibilities: 

  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging learning experiences
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes to outline content flow and structure
  • Manage the complete content development cycle, including creation, on-going updates, and evaluation to increase adoption of compelling and engaging learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME’s) including People Partners, peers, and partners to identify learning and development needs and design learning solutions that align with our goals.
  • Design interactive and multi-media-rich eLearning courses, videos, simulations, and other digital learning materials.
  • Report on baseline metrics for learning engagement, program completion, program adoption, and effect of learning programs.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on learning technology
  • 5 + years of experience in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise), graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), and animation tools (e.g., Vyond).
  • Experience with learning management systems. Experience with WorkRamp
  • You have knowledge of instructional design principles (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
  • Experience instructional design, curriculum development, and e-learning development.
  • Familiarity with SCORM standards.
  • Experience in graphic design, video production, or multimedia development.
  • Excellent project management skills

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado $95,500-$152,700 (annually)

Washington $95,500-$168,700 (annually)

California $95,500-184,900annually)

NYC $115,500-184,900(annually)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual salary/wage may be based on multiple factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, and market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role
