Summary Purpose of Position: The Instructional Designer works collaboratively with faculty and subject matter experts to provide pedagogical consultations, course design for of face-to-face, hyflex, online and blended learning courses, ensuring deadlines are met and quality guidelines are adhered to. The Instructional Designer is responsible for providing expert consultation and assistance to UMass Dartmouth faculty in the design and delivery of high quality and effective courses and technology-mediated teaching and learning initiatives. The designer will develop and train faculty on teaching pedagogies, instructional strategies, course design and instructional technologies. The Instructional Designer provides excellent customer service to our campus community in support of the academic and research mission at UMass Dartmouth. Follows the University’s best practices to build and/or support student academic success and retention and assists in meeting strategic objectives for persistence and timely graduation of all the student population.

Salary: $63,389-$81,225.65
