Mission

Support the creation, implementation, and execution of learning programs to help our employees or partners continuously learn to perform effectively and reach business goals. In short, accelerate ramp-time or time-to- value by creating a best-in-class learning experience across the employee lifecycle or partner journey.

Responsibilities

Content Authoring

  • Produces high quality learning resources for eLearning from story board to video such as PowerPoints, quizzes, activities, and job aids with little guidance
  • Knowledge of building facilitator guides and participant reference materials
  • Recognizes, edits, and resolves discrepancies from quality style guides in content with little guidance
  • Partners with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to obtain information and resources
  • Actively practices applying L&D techniques, adult learning theory, to increase knowledge transfer
  • Actively applies ADDIE to develop eLearning that meets the needs of various audiences and effectively improves job performance as measured by KPIs
  • Experience with content authoring tools to create high quality eLearning modules
  • Experience with writing learning objectives and measuring achievement with KPIs
  • Follows brand standards and style guides as needed; Conducts peer reviews of materials as needed

Learning Technologies

  • Owns basic functions in the learning management system (LMS) such as creating courses, assigning courses, tracking completions, and grading assignments etc.
  • Leverages the learning management system (LMS) to fulfill requests and maximize usage
  • Can build, assign, and review survey reports to captured feedback from participants
  • Creates reminders and communications to promote engagement and usage
  • Creates versions to keep content relevant; Updates content on a cycle
  • Applies gamification by using badges to encourage continuous learning
  • Follows SOPs when creating and uploading materials to ensure standards and accurate reporting

Knowledge Management

  • Helps create searchable documentation for the knowledge management platform
  • Completes basic functions like uploading items, creating users, and running reports
  • Works with SMEs to obtain documents and reviews materials

Project Planning

  • Produces according to the project plan; Communications about progress and roadblock on projects

Continuous Learning

  • Identifies skill gaps and new ways to utilize out-of-the-box trainings to sustain and increases continuous learning by 10%.
  • Supports a continuously learning environment by upgrading current learning solutions to next generation, so learners return for additional training and growth based on the value provided

Data Analysis

  • Uses reports from various systems to identify training needs and gather insights for improvement
  • Uses reports to understand who is using eLearning and how they are using it
  • Uses reports to understand which content is helpful and/or not useful to learners

Business Partnerships

  • Actively seeks input from peers to improve programs and brings forward opportunities to improve
  • Support 98% of learning requests related to LMS and knowledge management within timeframes
  • Support Alegeus partners or staff by providing accurate responses to 95% of emailed or ticket-based questions within 2 business days.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Instructional Design, or knowledge otherwise gained by equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years’ experience in L&D or related field. Certification (CPTD) is a plus
  • Prior experience with Articulate 360 or similar tool is required
  • Experience working with learning management systems, content authoring tools, knowledge management tools, and MS Office
  • Experience planning, designing, developing, and delivering in-person and online technical training
  • Experience leading training programs in a corporate environment
  • Experience in health insurance or consumer directed products such as HRAs, HSAs, FSAs, etc. whether at an agency, TPA, health plan or financial institution is a plus
  • Must be willing to travel to the office or meet partners as needed (up to 15%)
