The Role

BioCentric Inc, a JPA Health Company, is currently searching for an Instructional Designer to advise and collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to shape learning strategy, conduct research, and ensure creation and delivery of high-quality, engaging learning solutions.   

This is a hybrid position with the ability to work from any of our JPA Health offices.  

The Responsibilities

  • Design and develop creative and effective blended, digital, and mobile learning experiences, including understanding client needs and challenges, designing innovative and effective programs, and implementing solutions successfully. 
  • Advise and collaborate with team members across the lifecycle of a digital solution for clients (proposal, needs analysis, instructional approach, development, and assessment of outcomes and effectiveness of learning). 
  • Learning Experience/Instructional Design and Development:
    • Ensure that programs employ innovative and comprehensive measures to assess learner needs and success of learning solutions 
    • Assess client needs and design innovative solutions that integrate technology to enhance learning and fill critical skill gaps to improve business outcomes in an efficient and cost-effective manner 
    • Consider and apply instructional design principles to work (Modern Learning Concepts, Adult Learning Principles, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.) 
    • Develop interactive and engaging on-demand and instructor-led blended learning programs (synchronous and asynchronous) in various formats and media 
    • Design and develop learning support tools in digital and multimedia formats (e.g., storyboards, PPT decks, facilitator guides, participant guides, quick-reference guides, and job aids) 
    • Translate complex information into understandable and engaging communications and learning solutions 
    • Ensure programs delivered meet project, account, and client objectives and timelines 
  • Managing Client Relationships 
    • Engage with and advise team members with project management, account management, and solutions development 
    • Maintain, nurture, and grow established client relationships through:
      • Prompt, professional, and continuous communication 
      • Fulfilling client objectives 
      • Meeting timelines 
      • Leveraging past successes 
      • Making strategic recommendations based on client needs 

About You

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in instructional / learning experience design  
  • Healthcare or Pharma experience is required  
  • Experience with E-Learning products such Articulate 360 (RISE and Storyline)  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products  
  • Familiarity with LMS  
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 

We would be thrilled if you also have:

  • Master’s Degree a plus 
  • Knowledge of game-based tools a plus  
  • Graphic design experience a plus

The anticipated starting pay for this role is between $85,000 and $95,000 annually for the Greater Philadelphia area and $95,000 to $105,000 for all other US office locations, and is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. You may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses. We review compensation annually and evaluate readiness for promotions every quarter.
