Job Description

Designs and develops, at the speed of the business, compelling and innovative learning experiences that improve individual outcomes and deliver measurable business results. Establishes and maintains relationships with subject matter experts and researches and recommends services provided by external consultants or organizations. Partners to develop, co-create, source, or curate learning solutions to support business objectives (e.g. instructor-led, webinars, videos, online courses, quick reference guides, job aids, performance support tools, social and collaborative methodologies, etc.) to satisfy the needs of diverse sets of learners.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Learning and Development Manager or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in using Articulate 360 and Storyline or similar e-learning authoring tools to develop engaging and interactive online courses.
  • Experience with Vyond or other animation software to create animated videos and visual content for training purposes.
  • Competence in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

Instructional Design Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design theories, learning theories, and best practices in adult learning.
  • Ability to analyze training needs, design effective learning solutions, and develop learning objectives aligned with business goals.
  • Experience in creating learning materials, including e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and instructor-led training materials.
  • Understanding of blended learning approaches and the ability to combine various delivery methods for optimal learning outcomes.

Collaboration And Communication

  • Proven ability to work effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure the accuracy of training materials.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and employees at all levels of the organization.

Project Management

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to plan, track, and execute learning and development initiatives.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality control and adherence to instructional design standards.
  • Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Budget And License Management

  • PO issuance, timely GR’s, and PO tracking to ensure budget is within +/- 2%.
  • Cross-charge reconciliation for training attendance, TES, etc.
  • License tracking and management for Articulate, Vyond, etc.
