Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Instructional Design and Planning Program Manager is a key participant in a three-member Employee Services Unit team, responsible for developing and implementing a newly created departmental comprehensive training program intended to deliver engaging learning experiences. The mission of the Employee Services Unit is to promote staff professional and personal development to fulfill the department’s role as a critical enabler to deliver exceptional service for those living and working in our facilities.
This position is responsible for the inclusive and accessible design, development, and implementation/maintenance of training courses using multiple delivery methods, including instructor-led training (classes and webinars), self-paced web-based training, and other training and development support. The position will work closely with department leaders to identify individual unit training needs, evaluate training effectiveness, and modify training content or methods as needed.
