Informational Technology Trainer – Instructional Designer – ClinDoc

Location: UCHealth UCHlth 2450 Peoria Admin Services, US:CO:Aurora

Department: UCHlth IT Training

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $30.24 – $45.36 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience

The IT Trainer is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk) on UCHealth’s IT Training team. This may be a work-from-home opportunity, but you must reside in Colorado. Travel among all UCHealth sites will be required.

Summary:
Provides advanced training for all IT system(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers lesson plans and curriculum utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, and demonstrations.
  • Responsible for the evaluation of training materials/evaluations to measure the success of course objectives and/or program effectiveness.
  • Documents advanced issues and workflow changes during training sessions works with Supervisor to implement changes needed.
  • Provides advanced support and troubleshooting to end users. Documents end-user issues. Provides guidance and training to other team members.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

  • Previous instructional design experience 2+ years
  • Previous Epic Principal trainer experience 2+ years
  • Experience designing and delivering software training curriculum for large healthcare system.
  • Epic certifications
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry
