Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the delivery of digital course materials to students and faculty through the institution’s learning management system (LMS) 
  • Manage and respond to emails related to digital course materials, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication. 
  • Assist with Inclusive Access emails, maintaining a student-first attitude and taking extra steps to find solutions for both students and professors. 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital source content, working with internal and external partners to resolve problems quickly. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for faculty and students in need of assistance with accessing and navigating digital resources. 
  • Collaborate with the academic departments to ensure proper setup and integration of digital course materials. 
  • Monitor and track the status of digital course materials orders, ensuring materials are delivered and accessible before the start of each academic terms. 
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of digital course materials platforms, e-textbooks, and other related technologies. 
  • Provide training and support to faculty and students on how to access and utilize digital resources effectively. 
  • Assist in gathering feedback from students and faculty to continuously improve the digital course materials experience. 
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to digital course materials processes and communications. 
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. 

Minimum Requirements: 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: At least three years of retail experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Prior experience in customer service, technical support is preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, LMS systems, and e-textbook technologies is a plus. 

This position is located on-site in Charlottesville, VA. It will require evening and weekend hours during peak academic periods.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
